BlackBerry has updated its cross-platform messaging app BBM with a slew of new features and paid subscriptions. You can now pay a recurring fee of $0.99 per month to remove ads, and get a custom PIN for a separate monthly fee of $1.99. Custom PINs must be between six and eight characters in length, are not case sensitive and can only include letters and numbers. Premium users also get a little badge on their avatar. Last year Facebook released Origami for OS X for designing interactive user interfaces. But, for some reason you couldn’t actually prototype those interfaces on iOS. Today, the company fixed that. Uber teams up with Safetipin to collect location safety data in New Delhi
