Periscope has also updated its Private Broadcast feature; now when you select people to invite, you will also see a list of mutuals (people you follow and also follow you). Users can invite these people to the stream in one tap for the whole list or select people individually. Last week, Periscope also introduced Web profiles for its users. giphy (1)
GIFs are a wonderful way of expressing yourself on the Web, but sometimes you don’t want a full blown clip. Thankfully, posting animated text GIFs on Slack just got a lot easier. http://ift.tt/1KvHbZi An update to the Giphy plugin allows you to post text-based GIFs by adding ‘#text’ before your search terms. Chrome_liight
The latest build of Chrome has a fairly major bug that can cause the browser to crash with a special URL, but one developer is taking that bug and trying to turn it into some fun. %%30%30 is a game that lets you follow a maze of emoji with your cursor, avoiding deadly trees on your way to the end. Monese’s mobile-first banking service lets you open an account without a UK address [Invite codes]

DebitCard_Monese
Monese, a service that aims to simplify mobile-first banking, is opening its virtual doors to customers today following a three-month closed beta.
