Skype URLs make it ridiculously easy to video chat with anyone, no account needed

skype-3-way-image
Skype is making a small but important change that will make video and voice calls a lot more accessible: You can now invite anyone to a conversation with a simple URL, and they don’t even need to have the app installed or own a Skype account. To receive a conversation URL, you can just click the ‘+New’ button on the latest versions of Skype for Windows, Mac or on the Web. Once the recipient opens up the link, they’ll be asked to input their name, and then they’re ready to start chatting. It’s a seamless process, and it could enable a lot of spontaneous group conversations.…

Simply tap the ‘Go Live’ button on the YouTube Gaming app, and the software will begin capturing both your screen and selfie cam. Live GIF turns Live Photos from an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus into looping GIFs

LiveGIFappTNW
With the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Apple unveiled Live Photos, which take a snippet of video as you’re taking a picture. A new app called Live GIF will take your live photos and turn them into looping GIFs. It’s not for every photo, of course. Live GIF is probably not a good idea for those photos where everyone is grumbling as they line up for a family portrait. Nobody needs that behind the scenes GIF. An Adobe Flash bug affecting all computers is another reminder to uninstall now

RIP_flash
Another day, another critical vulnerability in Adobe Flash. Today, just a day after the company released its regular security update, Adobe has confirmed it found a security flaw that affects every version of Flash for every system type: Windows, Mac and Linux. Given the advisory number of CVE-2015-7645, the new flaw could allow an attacker to “crash and take control of the affected system.” The best part? There’s no fix available immediately and Adobe only says it “expects” to make an update available next week, but didn’t name a date. That’s a big risk it’s asking you to take. This exploit was first…
