Instagram hits 400M users in less than five years

Another year, another big milestone for Instagram. The platform today announced it has reached 400 million monthly active users. That’s up from 300 million users last December; that it was able to add 100 million users in less than a year is a huge testament to its popularity and continued growth, especially considering it first launched less than five years ago.
